Fall brings many exciting concerts to the D/FW area

This fall season brings several exciting concerts to Dallas. A multitude of artists playing at a variety of venues around North Texas will be sure to fit anyone’s musical preferences.

The season kicked off with rock band Panic! at the Disco on Friday, Aug. 22, at the South Side Ballroom at Gilley’s Dallas. The concert will also feature indie rock band Walk the Moon and indie pop band Youngblood Hawke.

Next up is English-Irish pop boy band One Direction on Sunday, Aug. 24, at AT&T; Stadium in Arlington.

Another big name, pop rock group OneRepublic, will be playing at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Fair Park on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Also playing on Aug. 26 is pop singer-songwriter Jesse McCartney, who will be playing at the House of Blues in Downtown Dallas.

Folk/pop singer-songwriter Jason Mraz will be kicking off the month of September with a concert at the Winspear Opera House on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

For all those country music fans out there, country singer-songwriter Brad Paisley will be playing at the Gexa Energy Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 5. He will be accompanied by fellow country artists Randy Houser, Leah Turner and Charlie Worsham.

Rock bands Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars will be coming to Dallas on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Gexa Energy Pavilion as a part of their “Carnivores” tour. They will be joined by special guest rock group AFI.

If you’re a fan of rap music, this next concert will be for you. Rap artists Lil Wayne and Drake will be headlining the Gexa Energy Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 7.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, country fans will get another chance to hear some live music at the Gexa Energy Pavilion, as country singer-songwriter Luke Bryan comes to Dallas as a part of his “That’s My Kind of Night” tour.

He will be joined by country artists Cole Swindell and Lee Brice.
