The varsity soccer team has advanced the the fourth round of the playoffs after a win against Harker Heights High School. The team previously beat Skyline and North Garland in the playoffs.

RYL program promotes leadership, community service
Richardson Youth Leadership, a program for juniors, is dedicated to building up leadership skills among teenagers in the Richardson community. Participating students visit various establishments around the city, including city hall and the police station.
University of Oklahoma fraternity members received unjust and exaggerated punishment
Two Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity students at the University of Oklahoma were recorded leading a racist chant and were later unfairly expelled from OU.
Varsity golf team finishes 28th in tournament
The varsity golf team traveled to California for a tournament from March 26 through March 28. The team finished 28th in the tournament. Junior Will Lovelace finished with the best score for the team and finished 63rd.
New issues appear as concerts become more like festivals
The calm nature of concerts is slowly but surely becoming diminished because of the extravagant and dangerous environment that encompasses the popular all-day festivals that teenagers attend.
Varsity baseball team sits at third place as season winds down
The varsity baseball team is currently 5-2 in district play, which is good enough for third place in the district standings. The team is behind only Mesquite Horn and Highland Park.
Underage drinkers should be wary of their own safety as well as the law
Despite many warnings from parents and authorities, underage drinking still remains a top cause of teenage deaths for many reasons.
Students participate in language immersion programs
Juniors Graham Rosen and Sebastian Elverskog are both attending Arabic language immersion programs in the summer. Graham will be studying in Morocco, and Sebastian will be studying in Vermont.

No leads on missing artwork
Sophomore Haoran Jiang’s artwork has been missing since February and it is yet to be found. There have been several attempts to find it, and there is a large prize for the person who returns it.
