The Pearce AVID students have raised over $1 million in scholarship money this year. They have applied for many scholarships and have received a lot of money from them.

‘Shut the Front Door’ attempts to stop underage drinking through pledges
Many teenagers are sent to the hospital for alcohol poisoning or other related alcohol accidents. Last year, the Shut the Front Door campaign began attempting to get parents to work together to stop this issue.
Clothes Closet helps Pearce students
The Clothes Closet, in connection with the food pantry, has been flourishing due to donated clothes from the Pearce Community. The TOPS program helped to organize the closet to give items to students in need.
Singin’ in the Rain amazes audiences
Pearce performed Singing in the Rain for the first time on Jan. 30 and ended on Feb. 6. This was Pearce’s big musical of the year.

Peggy Dillon has become the new Pearce Interim Principal after serving as Executive Director of High Schools for RISD. She brings years of experience from the education industry.
