‘Peter Pan’ is returning to Pearce from Jan. 20 to Jan. 29. This is the second time that ‘Peter Pan’ will be performed at Pearce, the last time being over a decade ago.
The football team had the same losing record as last year, However, the team seemed to keep games closer. The change in coaches has had a positive impact on the team and has made the team believe that they can win.
“Doctor Strange” is Marvel’s newest creation, and the studio’s new spin on a superhero was the biggest box office film of the week and likely to be one of the biggest hits of the year.
The Mighty Mustang Band is preparing for the state competition which comes once every two years. The band practices many hours a week to prepare for the long path to the state competition.
The Robotics Club has made many changes this year to improve the club and perform better in competitions. The club has a strong social environment and welcomes new students.
The James Bond Homecoming Dance was held in the big gym on Sept. 24 from 8:30-11:30. The feedback about the dance has mostly been positive.

With this being Pearce’s 50 yearbook anniversary, big changes are being made this year. The theme is “Gold Standard”.
The cross country team competed in a meet in Austin Sept. 16–18. They went to the largest meet in Texas that weekend and bonded outside of competing.
“Heathers 101” was performed at Pearce from Sept. 15 through Sept. 18 in the auditorium. These were the first performances of “Heathers 101” worldwide.
